We have been hearing the iPhone se 2 leaks for quite a long time now for more than 2 years probably and the iPhone SE 2 is still no where to be found.
iPhone SE 2 Launch Date Delayed Due to Corona Virus Outbreak
In 2020 we were very close to the actual release of the iPhone SE 2 the iPhone SE 2 was all set to launch on the 31st of March at the Apple Spring Event that apple holds every year in March, although these dates came much before the corona virus situation got worse, the mass production of iPhone se 2 has been started ( 21st march 2020) it has obviously been delayed due to the closing of factories in china and throughout the world.
The factories have been shutting down and being sanitized in china and in other parts of the world and it has been given orders by government of many nations that not a whole lot of groups should stay together just to minimize the affect of the corona virus and as a result the production of iPhone SE 2 has taken a great fall.
Earlier we were the expected launch date for the iPhone SE 2 was 31st march 2020 and we were hoping to see the iPhone SE 2 in Apple authorized stores like in Dubai and New York by 3rd or 4th of April and within the next week i.e. the week of 8th April in counties like India where apple has only resellers but this might not be the case now, the iPhone SE 2 launch has been shifted to the Q2 of 2020 and the actual date is not known yet. We might see the iPhone SE 2 launch before the WWDC in June. So, the iPhone SE 2 might be coming anytime between April and May and as soon as the corona virus situation gets under control.
iPhone SE 2 Specifications
The iPhone SE 2 is most likely to be a very powerful device just like its successor the iPhone SE. as we know that the iPhone SE 2 is a special edition phone so we are hoping to See a lot of parts being recycled from the old iPhone 8 and along with a upgraded internals just like the original iPhone SE which had recycled parts from the iPhone 5S and had specifications of almost the costly iPhone 6s.
The iPhone SE 2 will have a 4.7 inches LCD display (LCD because the iPhone SE 2 is going to be a budget device) with a Touch ID Sensor on its front and big bulky bezels on the front as well. The design of the iPhone SE 2 will be much like the iPhone 8. The apple logo is most likely to be shifted to the center just like the latest iPhone. There will not be any headphone jack in the new iPhone SE 2 as apple has already killed it after the iPhone 7
The internals of the iPhone SE 2 are the ones that will blow things up and could make the iPhone SE 2 one of the best in the market in the applicable price range. The iPhone SE 2 will have the apple’s A13 chipset along with a neuro engine, 3 gigabytes of RAM, the iPhone SE 2 will be IP67/IP68 dust and water resistant, and will also support wireless charging and fast charging, we will not get the actual fast charging kit with the iPhone SE 2. the iPhone SE 2 might come in 2 variants i.e. 64 GB and 128 GB.
The original iPhone SE had A9 chipset and 2 GB of ram and was a great deal but the iPhone SE 2 will have a 3 GB ram and the A13 chipset and that too on a 4.7-inch small display the iPhone SE 2 is going to be extremely powerful just like its successor

the iPhone SE 2 will have a 12-megapixel single camera, it might be the same camera that we have on our iPhone XR. According to some latest leaks and rumors about the iPhone SE 2, we also found out by looking at the code of the iOS 14 that apple is also working on a bigger but budget device that has a finger print Sensor, according to the iOS 14 code, it had code lines that are indicating to some software creation of a 5.5 inches budget iPhone that very well might be the iPhone SE 2 plus or the iPhone 9 plus as the naming is not yet clear some are calling it the iPhone 9 and other the iPhone SE 2 .
This will completely replace the old iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 plus models. The iPhone se 2 is expected to be launched at a price tag of $399 in USA however it might be very costly in India as due to the increasing rate of INR To USD and due to all the taxes and duties that are imposed by the government of India the actual price tag of the iPhone se 2 in India could be around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 and the 128 GB variant will be around $449 i.e. after including all the taxes and duties will be around Rs. 45,000
