The Oppo F5 – Capture The Real You

Oppo launched their newest device in Mumbai today and everyone was pretty excited as it is oppo’s first bezel less phone . So with the oppo F5 oppo has finally entered into the category of companies that make bezel less mobile phones.

The phone looks amazing the full HD display and no buttons on the front panel + the finishing made the device look wonderful . So oppo tried to make this phone a bit different from the rest of its device and its most strong competitor VIVO and on most of the points it succeed.

 

The Beautiful Display

So undoubtedly this is the best display which has ever featured on a oppo mobile phone .

It is a full HD 6 inch edge to edge display and the design is pretty much similar to the one we saw on the galaxy s8 series , the screen has a aspect ratio of 18:9 and with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and it is very bright and display very vibrant colors . Cameras and other specifications

The factory product willl come with a Android 7.1 Nogout and the most important thing the camera the thing on which Oppo most bragged about yes so it has a decent camera. The primary camera is of 16 MP, f/1.8, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and the secondary camera is of 20 MP, f/2.0, 1/2.8″ sensor size without the selfie flash so basically its a selfie phone but it comes with no Led Flash with the front camera . The rear camera is capable of shooting @ 1080p at 30fps .

Oppo also added a new feature “face unlock” that’s nothing new and smart phones 4 years back also had the same thing it just opens after seeing a image of you , it is not even close to that on the iphone X

Oppo has decided to make this phone completely bezel less and elongating the display and placing the fingerprint sensor at the back of the device and instead of using a circular sensor they have made it oval and that’s pretty interesting

The mobile phone will come in two variants one with 4GB/32GB and 6GB/64GB of RAM and ROM respectively both of them can be expanded upto a memory of 256 GB using a dedicated memory card . Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor.

The phone is powered by a battery of 3,200 mAh which is sufficient for a average day use

 

The Processors Ruined The Device

So yet again oppo stayed with the Mediatek processors , the mobiles are rocking with the mediatek Helio P23 and it might be a drawback as well . With an awesome design and features they could have opted for Snapdragon

Oppo F5 price in India starts at Rs. 19,990, for the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, The 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage with a price tag of Rs. 24,990 .  The phones will go on sale on 9th of November and shortly after that the local retailers might get their hands on it .
